How many hours would a shop charge to do this job? Shops today charge about $160/hr. Wondering if this would be better as an at home weekend job, or save the time and get someone else to lol

So I'm Suspecting This is The Issue. Car only Has About 50K Miles. Sad I Have to Dig into The Engine To Do This.

That turbo stuff I thought was that turbo that open and close the turbo but was not that was that thing on top the engine that circle with whole that was my turbo under boost problem

Rocker arms are shaved and need to be replaced...very common problem on 3.6 jeep engine

got like 150 miles in still says needs two more modules to finish driving cycle( O2 and EGR) smh, replaced arm and still get p2076

Mercedes dealer did this, still rattles after sitting five days. only use car once a week. Tried a thicker oil, helped slightly. No rattle if driven daily.

Cheap Chinese parts. I've had a 2016 Jeep JK since it was new. First 40,000 miles changed oil every 5000 miles and developed the tick. Mechanic tech told me to change oil every 3000 miles (no more) and to use 5W20 High Mileage oil and a half bottle of STP Oil Treatment every change. Stopped ticking after a hundred miles or so and hasn't ticked since ! Over 110,000 miles now. Hope this helps someone !

How do you determine if the wheel bearing is bad ? Mine makes a grinding squeaking noise while driving. Turning the wheel left or right doesn't change the noise.

Use a (hand) torque wrench never an impact gun to tighten !!!

Mu daughter repaired the ticking under warranty at 43,000 miles and a couple of months later, same dealer would now fix, even though the warranty was still in force. She paid to have it done, 3 months later again it started. She sold it and purchased a Toyota 4Runner, problem solved. No more Chrysler products.

What happens when the dealer replaces the adjuster and tensioner but nothing changes? I noticed unplugging the oil diverter solenoid in the oil pump reduces the chance of rattle. Oil analysis shows normal wear in engine. Maybe I should just leave the solenoid unplugged and let engine run at normal oil pressure and forgo the low oil pressure better fuel economy.

yeah, I was hoping to see how you took the 4 bolts at the back off, since dust cover prevents use of a socket. My 15 mm open side wrench does not do it...

If you are still around, how many miles on those injectors, and how do you care for them properly? When it comes to replacement, what brand do you recommend? Funny I came across this video because I was having an issue with P0171 the fuel trims are high and found a leak there and sprayed some starting fluid and monitored the fuel trims basically go back to normal. Same year and vehicle great video man

Thank you for this video, would you also change the fuel supply jumper considering the age of this vehicle? Sometimes the issue exists when the spring connecter does not properly engage due to corrosion. The fuel coupler came apart and could have caught the van on fire.
